Pimento (roughly translated as darkness) deals with the theme of surrendering, from different
perspectives. ”We set out to make a set of songs that were a bit different, a bit melancholic and yet more
rugged compared to our previous EP (Avarrus). We thought of the record as a map that you must turn
around over again, study a bit further away and then a bit closer. It is a path where you first travel a few
steps into a direction and then a few moments later, you walk back a step or two. Pimento is about finding
and losing, eventually surrendering to the void, and yet it is still hopeful at the end.”
