Ihmeauto is a producer duo hailing from Helsinki, Finland, who describe their sound in short as melancholic electronic. Their brand-new EP Sola deals with feelings of loneliness and externality.
Sola is a unified piece of work, even though its narrators and moods vary from song to song.
From the opening song Sola’s brooding and icy soundscapes to the hopeful and ethereal last piece, Muistan, uneksin.
The EP features a host of guest vocalists and musicians across its six songs, including rap duo Tukevat Kukot, Vita Linfast, ÄäniAalto from previous EPs, as well as newcomers Lempi Elo and Pepe Vegas.
Sola welcomes its listener to a world which lures you to the dark side of the moon, to the depths of the ocean and to a faraway land beyond the horizon.
